RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research is interdisciplinary, spanning computing, psychology, mathematics,
biology and philosophy.
My central concern is with complex, self-organizing computational systems and
their relevance to natural and artificial intelligence.
At the present time I am supervising a team of many dozens of programmers, working on WebMind, a general purpose distributed AI architecture based on principles from
complex systems science and theoretical psychology, programmed in Java. We are building
AI code and applications based on this AI code, and I am also involved in various business
strategy decisions, negotiations with business partners, etc.
